Rick A. Brown is an award winning editorial and commercial photographer with added capabilities in video and writing. He has much experience working with conservation related issues with his editorial photography and it is in this work where his awards have been won.

Rick’s interest in conservation issues drove him to study biology at the University of North Carolina where he also studied psychology and film criticism. A career in photography was always his ultimate goal.

Rick has recently been working a great deal with various types of old machinery, such as classic aircraft. Bringing Rick’s other interests, such as history and aviation, into his art as well.

His work could be useful for editorial, advertising, or perhaps you want a photograph of yourself with your classic car or airplane. Rick is skilled at both conventional portraits or can combine the subject with other backgrounds using digital compositing for a surreal look.

Rick lives in Oregon’s Willamette Valley located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Earlier in Rick’s life he moved a great deal and has lived in Indiana, Louisiana, North Carolina and Texas before finally settling in Oregon.
